Dancing on the edge of the Etna is a project initiated by Gustave Demoen, who invited different groups of artists for a residency in Catania, the nearest city to mount Etna. A follow-up exhibition with the same artists was organized in n0dine, Brussels. Where do you want to go today? was created for this exhibition and consists of a sound installation and a window sticker

Celine Aernoudt and Emile Van Helleputte invited two sound designers, Casper Hendriks & Gillis Van Der Wee, to imagine how the sound of the Etna could be and to produce this sound by means of foley recordings. The  recording was mixed in a loop of a sound recording of the exhibition space of n0dine, which is a very loud and reverberating space that resonates the traffic from the busy street it is located in. The concrete foley sounds were thus entering a sort of dialogue with the soundscape of the city.
