Organbooks is an open, chronologically numbered series. The books consist of double-sided folded cardboard into which holes are punched and are normally used to mechanically control barrel organs. Historically, they were invented to automate musical performance, an ideal that was never really achieved. They are also one of the early examples of binary coding.
The compositions that I digitally encode, copy and interpret in their own way different art historical references.
