4-channel sound installation, foley objects

Added value is an installation of a series of objects confronted with a 4-channel sound installation. The sound composition is made with the objects presented in the installation.

While the sounds in the composition initially are concrete and recognizable, they increasingly become abstract and atmospheric, questioning the relationship between sound and object.

The objects in this installation are common foley objects: objects used for the post-production of sound in film. I explore how their sound evokes a speculative imagination about activation, movement, and transformation of the objects in the installation.
